The Local Nature Recovery Strategy
Overview
The South Yorkshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) is now out for public consultation.
The LNRS sets out a long-term plan for restoring and connecting nature across South Yorkshire while supporting thriving rural communities, productive farmland and climate resilience. It will help guide future investment, funding opportunities and partnership working across the region. South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) is inviting feedback on the draft strategy before it is finalised and adopted.
Visit the LNRS website at https://southyorkshirenaturerecovery.co.uk and explore the interactive map to identify opportunities or challenges in your area. SYMCA team can be emailed at lnrs@southyorkshire-ca.gov.uk with any questions.
