Find your site

• Either:
  • Click on the Magnifying Glass icon to search for a location or postcode, or
  • Manually zoom and pan to the correct location.

Start drawing

• Click once on the map to place your first point.
• Move your mouse and click again to place the next point.
• Continue clicking to add points and shape the boundary of the area.

Adjust the shape as you draw

• You can zoom in or out to be more precise.
• Each click adds a new corner (vertex) to the polygon.

Complete the polygon

• To finish the polygon, either:
  • Click back on the first point, or
  • Double‑click to automatically close the shape.
• When complete, a green box with "Shape Complete" will be displayed at the top of the map and the area should now be shaded or outlined.

Edit the polygon (if needed)

• Click on the polygon.
• Drag points to adjust the boundary, or click on the line to add a new point.
• Click Confirm when complete.

Delete the polygon (if needed)

• Select the polygon
• Click Delete and Confirm to remove your polygon and start again.

Save your response

• Once you are happy with the area shown, click Continue to provide details of the site.

In Section 2, you will have the option to upload a shapefile containing your site boundary.
